:: Updated information and news on indie filmmaker Gregg Araki :: About this page > When searching for info on Gregg Araki, I was mainly finding dead, pop-up clogged geocities pages, so I decided to sort out the good stuff and compile it here. If you have something to add or a question, contact the webmaster after reading the FAQ below. I'm just another admirer of Araki's work, and I have no way of contacting him on your behalf. I do not sell anything here, so please do not email asking about where you can purchase his movies. That's what search engines are for.
Mysterious Skin is now out on DVD! I suggest buying it from kick-ass Seattle-based Scarecrow Video. Gregg Araki's upcoming film, crEEEEps!, has been added to the IMDB. Read the same article rehashed on horrorchannel.com, variety.com, or dark-universe.com for a bit more about it.

Pretty please read this FAQ before emailing me with questions. Emails asking for Gregg Araki's contact info or where to buy something will be deleted, so take a moment to see if I've already provided an answer for you. "I'm a fan who wants to contact Gregg Araki, please, please tell *me* his address!" OR "I'm an aspiring actor/filmmaker, can you send him my headshot/script?", etc, etc. I HAVE NEVER MET GREGG ARAKI AND I HAVE NO WAY OF CONTACTING HIM. No amount of sincere pleas and assurances that you're cool will change the fact that I have no way of getting in touch with him. Sorry. "Where can I buy _____ ?" Check out eBay listings for Gregg Araki; half.com listings; and Scarecrow Video, an independent retailer that sells the teen apocalypse trilogy and much more. They're very helpful in hunting down hard-to-find movies on PAL and NTSC. I am not a retailer and if it can't be found elsewhere, I have no secret stash of movies for sale. "I heard Nowhere is on dvd, but I can't find it. Where can I buy it?" Nowhere is only on dvd in PAL format. I have no idea when/if it will ever be available in North America. If you have a region-free dvd player like Malata (best region-free player), you can order Nowhere from Amazon UK, or try asking Scarecrow Video to order it for you. "I heard The Living End is on dvd, but I can't find it. Where can I buy it?" As with all other sales questions, I can only suggest that you look at eBay listings for Gregg Araki; half.com listings; and Scarecrow Video. "I heard that Gregg Araki made a series for MTV. Where can I buy it?" Yes, there was a series in the works in 2000, called "This Is How the World Ends." From what I know, only a pilot was shot, and it is not available for official purchase. Your best bet is asking other fans for a bootleg copy.
